Past, Present and Future!

Starting this new website project has been super exciting. The past years have been presented with a lot of challenges. As a Brazilian, passing my early years living in a small touristic town, without big tech companies, until working with IT in Europe, I have a lot of stories to tell and how I arrived here.
I remember the first time playing video games. My first video game was an ATARI 2600. Delightful evenings playing Seaquest, Frostbite, Mr. Postman and Pac-Man. Then Super Nintendo arrived and changed everything: International Super Star Soccer, MegamanX, Super Mario, Run Saber, Goof Troop and a different range of games that brought me lots of joy with new colors, features and challenges.
Thanks to Video-Games that I spent a good part of my teenage years playing which inspired and made me love technology.
I had my first job in a supermarket in 2002. It was a temporary job at Christmas and New Year’s time. I had two main missions at that time: to carry customer's packages to their cars and to refill products in the food sector. It was really an interesting experience and I am always proud to remember this. During this time I decided to follow my childhood’s passion for technology and I started my University Bachelor's degree in IT Systems the year next.
It was a real battle to achieve the four years of studying: two part-time jobs, a few hours of sleep everyday, a lot of studying hours and with these efforts, I was very proud to be the one chosen to receive the Best Academic Performance prize at my Graduation Ceremony.
Since that time, I have worked as a Developer, University Professor, Technical Book Reviewer, Writer and I am still growing and learning as much as I can.
Nowadays, I am still passionate for technologies, games, anime and evolution. The main challenges today are to bring balance to the force!
That is the main motivation to start this new website project.
I want to share my experience and help company and people to grow. I am a passionate for People-first culture as technology should enable and not dominate the workplace.
I am planning to write different articles which vary from technical subjects to leadership and mentoring.
I hope you enjoy the journey as much as possible. Thanks for reading this and we will see us soon in the next articles.
